first day of basketball try outs yesterday:

highlight: watched a transfer sophomore dominate the mid range game. tall, strong, swingman who has that Dirk like touch around the rim, and can still attack. major plans to draw up stuff for him this season.

lowlight: watched a guy take a step back 3 pointer. miss. next play down dribble the ball off his foot, and then fall down out of bounds trying to save it. pretty sure it was his first time stepping on a real court. that park ball life has no place on my squad.
