I'm kind of against marriage too.
but def. against rings.

I just figure if you're "open" enough to be against marriage, I wonder why you're so "rigid" with the ritual of it.

I firmly believe that not everyone is meant to be married. Not, "oh you haven't found the right person," or "you're just lonely and bitter."
Marriage isn't for everyone, but props to those who are and in good relationships.

Marriage is just a piece of paper and a ring.
That's what I thought until I started reading marriage laws.

Basically marriage means you emotionally/financially merge with someone.

Then you see how many years you can last.
 
Would you accept someone's proposal who you were in love with and could see yourself spending your life with?
That would mean being in a serious relationship with someone, which wouldn't happen because it's basically expected to end in marriage.
 
Wedding rings are lame... More people should take marriage seriously and bite off each others ring fingers as a symbol of commitment like this couple.
