I'm always late for yall's discussions, but Kiss Land is classic quality, but unfortunately

not a classic in reverence.

The writing on that album>>>>>>>>>

The production is breath-taking.

The darkness he taps into on that album.

The visuals that accompanied that album.

The "story" and themes of Kiss Land are great too.

Live for is the only low spot on that album.

The wanderlust remix is better than the og.

Tears In The Rain is epic, and given the context of the entire song

the long intro is almost necessary.

Although that vid of whoadie in the car was funny, I must admit.

I feel like "Adapted" is an underrated cut off that album.

"I've laid my head on a thousand beds,

It's been a test to see how far a man can go without himself,

I think I lost the only piece that held it all in place,

Now my madness is the only love I let myself embrace"

"Kiss Land is Abel at the start of his rise. A man violently confronted by his success and growth."

"Kiss Land is a conversation between a hometown and a man who has outgrown his home"

"The "horror" of Kiss Land is coming home and realizing that it and the people in it no longer exist- and neither does the old u"

I'm not a music reviewer, prolly for good reason, but Kiss Land is along with Thursday the best work

that Abel has ever released.

I can easily see myself playing Kiss Land twenty years from now and being brought back to

the exact moment I first heard it, and I know there are people in this thread who feel the same way.

That's classic.

Lonely Thoughts was cool. That other version of Pullin Up was cool too(the last track) Outside of those didn't really feel it. Quatre Neuf sounded like it could've been alot more but just wasn't.

Guess that's why they were unreleased
