The way this is written is way better than the ABC Madoff tv movie.

That seemed way longer than 2 hours lol.

Didnt know about any of that stuff that happened to his sons damb.

Michelle Fifer still a solid actress.

Pretty good film. Not great but good. 4.5 outta 8.

A 4.5 out of 8 is pretty average.

You need a 5 or above to be good.

And yeah it did seem longer than 3 hrs. They managed to pack a lot of story in to this movie. It was really good to me but I may have gotten carried away with Dr Niro's performance. It was right in his wheel house. Came off as a much worse father than Dreyfuss' Madoff.


Also, I knew one son committed suicide but had no idea the other died as well. Sucks for Mrs. Madoff.

I would've liked a scene where she finds out Bernie had an affair and then cuts off all ties with him for good.

Yeah, it's crazy from this, The Big Short, Wolf of Wall Street, Too Big To Fail time and time again I'm seeing rampant incompetence being a main factor when it comes to hundreds of millions to billions being moved around or stolen.

It's insane.

i mean most of those situations were right time type of deals

they took advantage of the lack of sophistication/tech

you could argue those guys werent actual geniuses or maybe even not really smart

just had the gall to do something unsavory and had enough knowledge to play people

you wont hear illegal success stories, a truly "smart" person would never let it happen
