I bought a useless battery powered lawn mower because I didn't want to waste gasoline to mow a lawn. The battery died after one year, and to purchase a new battery was about half the cost of a new gas powered mower with a Honda engine, so in the end I bought a gas one instead of a new battery because the battery lasts at most three years.
