I wouldn't include threads filled with memes taken from other sects of the Internet. That's not a NT creation, it's more of a copy & paste fest so exclude the Denzel and Thanksgiving threads.

Regardless of that the EWD Drone thread is clearly the best thread.

I wish we had a better way of keeping track of all of the thread of the year worthy candidates.

Sort the threads by number of replies

That is a simpler way. Problem with that is it won't stick to threads made in a given year.

I never mess with the set up in general by sorting threads that way and I know I can just never even attempted. I be mad when I accidentally click mark all threads as read.

In all my years on NT, never have I laughed so hard at any NT made videos. Easily the man's best work and that thread was by far TOTY.

I think if we tryna mark a thread to be considered Thread of the Year, the people who post in it should say reply with:



*****2016 TOTY candidate 2016*****



So at the end of the year, who ever makes the thread just searches the five asterisks, the year, TOTY candidate, year, asterisks. If its done it for the stronger threads, then they should all show up in the search to be rated and discussed. I also think that a minimum of three TOTY tags should be posted by 3 different usernames in a thread to be considered, to avoid ppl jumping the gun or just calling any ole thread TOTY. Just an idea.
