Trip Los Angeles. What to do and what to know?

Alright so me and my girl are going to visit Los Angeles around christmas time an will be staying there untill January second. What are the best things to doout there (and surrounding areas)? Also, my girl is 20 yrs old so is it possible for her to get in the clubs or are they very strict with the age thing?Thanks!
