Truck Lift Question.

Out of curiosity, is it considered a "truck lift" or "suspension lift" whenever trucks are sitting a bit higher?

Reason i ask is because i'm soooo close to purchasing a silverado during the summer. Any help is good help?........i reside in Texas if it matters

It's a suspension lift when you lift the frame and the suspension with springs, if you want to do some serious offroading, this is what you want to do. Abody lift, just lifts the body of the car above the frame.

suspension lift = you should get this for performance and if youre gonna do serious offroading
body lift - for looks only and if you're low on $$$

I have a Silverado myself and I was thinking of doing that to my truck, but I ended up not doing it. There's so much $$$ to put in that car after getting asuspension lift. You gotta buy new tires, get your gauges calibrated, and a lot of other stuff.
