These types of short film kind of movies allow for ensemble casts because each "star" has their own story. There isn't as much of ademand from the actors to have a full-length commitment because they only have their short story to deal with. In some cases, ensemble casts get in the waybecause of egos and bad writing, but these types of movies (the short film collection) allow for a much better chance of good writing/acting.

On the whole, I think a lot of people are writing the movie off without understanding the medium.

With the Career that Cuba Gooding Jr. is having ever since Jerry Maguire, he should be bumped down to a B-lister. He was like the hottest start at the time andnow he does movies like Snow Dogs.

Drawing audiences makes you a A-lister winning an oscar does NOT. You just put out a good movie that year you get some buzz after the win and you're followup movie after the Oscar is pretty much the death of you...........see Halle Berry, Kevin Spacey, Cuba Gooding, Hillary Swank, Reese Witherspoon... etc...

Most A-listers i.e Will, Tom, Leonardo have NO oscars under their belt but their movies making 100 Mil easily...
