I'm visiting dallas from Toronto to see some relatives infertility make nday. No one here is around my age (25) but I rented a dodge charger so I have mobility . I'm staying in the McKinney area. Please advise.

There is a pretty big mall in Irving called Grapevine Mills, has a Nike outlet store in it. Find out who is playing House of Blues Dallas that time period, might be a good concert. See if the Mavs are playing

I travel often. Shopping. Isn't a priority unless it's cheap like a good outlet Mall. I like seeing the city and observing how people live. I'm also into checking out nature if it's exclusive to the place

i dont know if this place is in Dallas but i know it's somewhere in Texas, it's a chicken spot called Rudy's my homeboy from Texas is always talking about that place like it's the best thing ever made

How far out are you willing to travel to see some good nature spots? You have to hit up downtown Fort Worth on a weekend. Especially 7th street. It gets pretty live especially if the Rangers or Mavericks. (

) are playing. Hit up Ojos Locos if you want to see some good looking women.

Not too familiar with the Dallas side of dfw

No one in this thread have any idea what they are talking bout.

Dat oil will have homey sleeping the whole trip.

Pft. If its anything like Houston its a Happy Beginning and Ending after 12.

Dallas is the most overhyped city in America..smh. I know because I live here. There's not much to do fam but eat good food. There's hella restaurants out here. If you tryna go out, there's some clubs downtown. Plush is pretty cool, I haven't been there in a while though. There's also a bunch of Bars on Mckinney Ave. My personal fav spots are The Slip In(club/bar) on henderson and greenville and sherlocks in addison. The girls be ready there

) and yes Rudy's BBQ is a MUST. I would bring home soo much for people whenever we went to visit. (http://rudysbbq.com/page/home) Best BBQ in Texas straight up.
Go to the Six Flags in Arlington just outside of Dallas (Its the original Six Flags) and if you like water parks you can go to Hurricane Harbor which is across the street but if you want to go to a real water park make a day trip and drive the 4 hours to the the Schlitterbahn outside of San Antonio in New Braunfels ( http://schlitterbahn.com/nb/ ) %@## is HUGE and its AWESOME!

If you stay in the DFW area go to Tiffs treats for some super good fresh baked cookies (http://www.tiffstreats.com they deliver too). Sonic for awesome drinks. Hook Line and Sinker for some good seafood (http://www.yelp.com/biz/hook-line-and-sinker-dallas) But seriously you need to go to Rudy's I think the closest one to Dallas is in Waco TX (unless they built more since Ive been their last) but it not too far of a drive maybe (45mins-hour from downtown Dallas) I want to live vicariously through you so you need to go.

Dallas as a city is pretty weak imo as there really isn much to the city, everything is just spread around and sprawled out. You arent going to see many cool sights but as others said there is some cool stuff to do in other places and great food everywhere.

Have fun and again go to Rudys!

get ready for a waiting line too

Keep driving past Dallas and go to Ft. Worth. You will have a better time.

I'm from Houston and I just visited Dallas for the 1st time 2 weeks ago. I went to the Mavericks Vs Lakers game if you like basketball watching the world champions play is not something you get to do everyday. I checked out the 6th floor Museum, it was very interesting you get to see the exact spot where LHO posted up and killed Kennedy, the street is even marked on the 2 spots where the president was when he was shot. You have to get In-N-Out burger, there's 3 or 4 of them they are the only ones in the entire State. 20 mins away is Arlington, TX, there you can see Cowboys Stadium, it is HUGE. Rangers Ballpark is right across the street, if the Rangers are in town and you like baseball you can go to a game. There's also Six Flags as well. As for nature, Texas Blue Bonnets are everywhere. I had a good time. But just remember, the 4th largest city in the US and the greatest City in Texas is only 4 hours down I-45

If you want to go shopping go to North Park Center, Has over 200 stores.

Almost everything good is outside of Dallas, Not exactly in Dallas.

Like some dude said, It just depends on how far you are willing to drive.

Be ready for traffic.
