Be careful what you wish for. WWE’s “Monday Night Raw” pulled into the Verizon Center in Washington D.C. on Monday night. A well-known fan of wrestling, hometown native Wale was in attendance when a heckler noticed the rapper was taking in the event. Taking things to Twitter, the unknown male sent threats to Wale and at one point, daring him to meet during the live show. According to TMZ, what followed after was Wale finding the Twitter troll and punching him in the face.

After security broke up the scrum and escorted both parties backstage, Wale would later return to watch the fights in the ring.

Update: The video that has surfaced does show Wale getting involved in a brief physical altercation but the severity of doesn’t seem like a “beat down” or even a full punch that connected.
