Thinking about it, both Hawkeye and Ant Man are scumbags in their own way. They threw away the safety and security of their families to go help Cap. Even with Cap breaking them out of jail at the end of the film they're still wanted fugitives and their families very well may end up under some heavy surveillance as a result. Ant Man especially didn't even have a stake in this fight He can admire Captain America and the Avengers all damn day, but that doesn't change the fact that he knows none of these people. It's actions like that that'll make your ex-wife revoke any visitation rights my man.

Good point I hadn't thought of that. Though what exactly Fury is doing these days and how much money he has isn't really clear.

Also doesn't change him putting Captain America before his family though. Same for Scott.
