What sports did you play in HS

Basketball.

I was the shortest, whitest guy in the district and I think the only reason I was the 2nd guy off the bench was because of Steve Kerr.

E'rybody started rolling out the "Three-point Specialist Who Can't Play Defense" off the bench and I just happened to be him.

Hit some big shots, at key times.

Just don't pay attention to what happened on the other end though........

Volleyball
All 4 years.

Best moment- making JV as a freshmen when there was a freshmen team but then choked in the first game cuz i was asked to be a defensive specialist but then turned over to setter and frosh team haha

could have played basketball but tore a quad in 8th grade that set me back for the fall season and i lost my endurance.

track- good but parents made me quit senior year cuz I was wylin'

Played basketball my Junior year of High School... I came on mid season and had a non basketball related leg break which needed 3 surgeries - after only my third game.

Best on court moment: my first game, I came in at the end off the bench and got a block and scored a basket.

Best part was really that I wifed up the manager of the team.

Football - played on JV my freshman year and varsity from that point on. I started my last two years at safety and played decent, nothing spectacular. Racked up 6 career picks and a couple forced fumbles. My only touchdowns came from defensive plays. I never got the oppurtunity to play offense on varsity

. Never even sniffed a state title.

Soccer- played sophomore -senior years. Played as a CDM and helped my team win 5A state title in 2006. Scored maybe 4 goals my entire career.

Basketball and Track. Track had all the women, especially when it was meet times. GAWD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

varsity football and varsity basketball...playing soccer in college.

best memories senior year...nothing like playing point guard on an unselfish team

Basketball and Track.

Did cross country for like a month and stopped showing up after the 2nd meet. I refused to lose to a bunch of 120 pound albino looking dudes.

track (200 was my best race.. ran the 100 and 400 too)
football (DB)

Baseball, basketball, football. Gave up baseball/basketball after sophomore year because of tendonitis in my arm and to concentrate solely on football. Always wonder about the what could've been baseball career though. If any.

Football - All conference QB senior year. Broke 5 school records and took the team to state for first time in 20 years. Fun and unforgettable times.

Cross Country - 4 year varsity
Track - 4 year Varsity
Basketball - 2 years JV

Tried out for soccer senior year. But had to stop due to indoor track with my club team.

Currently on a partially track scholar at a small/medium sized D1 school. Sophomore year starts in august.

I played football from 6th grade through 11th (varsity in 10 and 11). I quit before my senior year because it was clear I wasn't going to get playing time. I know this sounds like every other excuse, but the three guys at DB all went on to college ball. I got one interception and like 20-30 tackles in garbage time.
Instead, senior year I played soccer with some friends and had fun... two goals. I ran track as a freshman too.

Did anyone else do a strength team thing in the winter just to stay in shape?
