The Basketbowl, between Michigan State University and the University of Kentucky was the most attended basketball game in history. It occurred on December 13, 2003 at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan setting an attendance record of 78,129. Kentucky won the game 79-74. The NCAA was impressed with the massive size of the crowd that they decided in 2008 to expand the seating capacity for the Men's Division I Basketball Championship to a minimum of 70,000 starting with the 2009 Final Four, which would be held in that stadium.

I'm going to Duke next season.

Dunno when I'm going to a FSU game.

And I'm taking in Yankee game when I go to NY in two weeks.

I went to Shea when I was like 7, Went to Wake for a basketball tournament, and Went to the Dean Dome for a pre-season game (I live down the street fromthem)

I'll always remember that game cause Jr. hit a BOMB to the players parking lot...Dukie V. was sitting right in front of me...ST is a fun experience...Iwas also getting flack for Rich Aurilia being a SJU alum, and he sucks...he was on the reds at the time
