What's durabuck? (AJVI OG)

I read that word somewhere, th OG jordan vi black infrra had that i think. What is that material? Would be great if nike started using that again.

You know how black AJ IV, V, VI, VII and VIII all have this cheap synthetic material which breaks and cracks after a few years wearin'. Does anyone by chance know how to prevent that?

Durabuck is simply "durable" nubuck. Just nice nubuck. Thats all.
