You wouldnt be calling them "Raptors" if you grew up in the "Jordan era"Originally Posted by HAGS
I am 31, so that puts me as a very lucky one who grew up through the true "Jordan Era". I had my first pair of J's in third grade, they were "Sky" Jordan I's, blue and white and I colored all over them. I had almost every Jordan through middle school and got a paper route to afford them during that time because obviously mom and dad said they were getting too expensive. My favorites being the september blue VI's and Raptor VII's. Even being from Cleveland rooted for Jordan through middle, high school and beyond. I love being able to get the same shoes I had as a kid now.... I didn't collect in the early 2000's (stupid me!) I was in college and couldn't afford them. So now I have a job and am just getting back into it over the last three years! Didn't even realize this "game" existed then and now I am getting in full force...I love the feeling of getting those new J's just as much now as I did when I was a kid!
he's just going off of what a lot of the people call them here.. we know, jordans have been given these cheesy names like bred and raptoretc...Originally Posted by AirJordanXVIII
