Where will rap be in 10-15 years?

Why don't we just reverse this, and think BACK 10-15 years ago. The rappers you hear today weren't even rapping or just starting.

Hip hope will survive.

the future of hip-hop lies in the hands of the youth

one could say that it $*$%*% because kids are coming up listening to garbage, but then there's plenty of up and coming rappers who have actually studied HIP-HOP and not just contemporary rap music that have the potential to change the game

kendrick lamar and big krit are good examples

lupe will probably be dead in the next few years the gov is probably tapping this @$#%% already
and it'll probably sound different due to more fusion with other musical genres

-KDAY in Los Angeles will start playing music from the start of the 50 Cent era in 2003 to now

True about KDAY, hahahah

I see it as being new guys being mainstream. I hope dudes like J Cole, Kendrick, Bishop, etc are still there because they have stuff to say.

But 10-15 years ago we didn't have to worry about hip hop's future cuz it was at it's peak in popularity and sales and that had a direct correlation to actually being a good hip hop artist. Actual good and great albums easily went platinum.

Right now that is pretty much the opposite.

Hopefully in a better place.
