Spent 2 months of my summer traveling through Europe and i gotta say that the quality of life there is A1.
People can get healthcare, jobs pay well, education is covered.
Most of the countries I visited had a month paid vacation for everyone who works.. Can you imagine that here?
On the flip side, the taxes are pretty high but at least everyone lives a decent life unlike in America where you are either
A) Crushing it
B) barely making it by and working check to check
Also the stress level seemed to be at all time low, people would literally take a long *** lunch everyday and drink a beer and chill.
Here you drink a beer on break and people think you are an alcoholic
Just what I have observed from my short hiatus.
Not to mention or justice system is completely out of wack.
We can learn a lot from Europe, but America is also a very young country so in time hopefully we can figure out the way to make things run as smoothly as they should.
America is awesome because we literally have all cultures which makes it so diverse unlike other countries, but we definitely have some problems that we need to resolve as Americans.
You didn't live in Europe. You visited Europe. You're comparing Europe's highlight reel to America's behind the scenes footage.
