Issue with the NAACP supporting Sanders is the fact that everybody that's not Black do the same thing, and that's lump us into one category. Just because one group supports doesn't mean we all do. It's easier for them to broadly categorize us though. Many still believe that Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are the voice for the entire "race" and that the NAACP and the UNCF support every Black person, when it's far from the case. But then again, people still think that affirmative action helped us more than anyone else.

People seems to have forgotten they went after O' Malley as well. The point of all this is to try to make the candidates better and making sure they don't forget by forcing them to openly acknowledge issues that affect black people more than others and meet with them about it.
I think this is good because we can have the power to push the candidates we want to where we need them to be.
And it make sense because the candidates they go after are ones that have the best chance to listen and respond with policy ideas, (see below) Some may not like the methods of what some of these BLM guys are doing but its gotten results as far as forcing the democratic candidates and their audiences to listen. Hopefully it will translate in to actually policy.

This is big considering there isn't a lot of money coming from these people to sway these politicians.
