I thought every tweet was funny.
Funny I was just hearing on xm somewhere that comedians hate doing college campus' because they are the most insulted by the jokes and everything has to be politically correct. Honestly I went to see jim Norton last year and people were actually pissed about the toilet jokes he was saying. Like you go to a comedy show to be entertained and if it makes you uncomfortable than move along, the best comics insult everyone including themselves
The issue here is context. What Jamie Foxx said was a joke that wasn't meant to be hurtful or to denigrate Bruce. The people in that frat singing that Black people can hang from a tree but they'll never been part of their frat organization wasn't a joke. So the black chick being upset in this instance isn't hypocritical.

And the fact that somebody would even make the connection between Jamie Foxx joking around and these southern SAE dudes basically performing hate speech blows my mind. Seriously?
This wasn't malicious, it was a joke. There was nothing here about hurting the guy, or how being transgendered is wrong, it was just a comical viewpoint of the process of going from a man to a woman. If anybody watched the bieber roast yesterday, there were a ton of jokes about black people and nobody is getting their panties in a bunch about it. There's alot of legitimate causes for protest out there but this isn't one of them. This social media outrage **** can be so goofy sometimes man.
Reminds me of offensive costumes, like the guy dressed as a Virginia Tech victim, or especially the guy dressed as ray rice with the blow up doll trailing him on the ground. Like I said earlier, people find stuff funny until it hits close to home and dances on their insecurities or sensitive spots. It's hard [impossible] to draw a line as to determine what's inappropriate and what's just in good fun. Someone could easily say that dressing up as any dead person or victim is tasteless and they would be right within their opinion.
You can tell a lot about a person by what they laugh at. What they've been through, how twisted they are, how smart they are...the list is endless.
this is the softest generation by design....
It's all part of the feminist agenda.
This generation really does suck. Not even debatable
These .most of the times these days I'm shaking my head at my generation. The list of not just shows but consumable media overall that wouldn't be acceptable today is a looooooooooooong one
I blame the internet. Srs. It makes it easier for people to whine about things they dislike and actually be heard.
Agreed.
People dont realize this and its sad.
So many comedians joke about pedophilia and that garbage will NEVER be funny
The world is getting soft. Saw an MTV true life episode
I can't believe "**** shaming" is a thing I saw things going downhill when folks started talmbout cyber bullying. So glad I grew up in a home where everybody roasted.
This generation is soft, I miss HT
Nothing wrong with a healthy roast session
Every joke offends someone.
Bigger and Blacker is still my favorite all time stand up
I made it to the part where 'MTV true life' was a go-to for why the world's getting soft
If I were them I'd be complaining about how corny those jokes were instead of how offensive they were. Except for the proposal one. That was kind of a good one
