Why is there so much disgusting obesity in this country?

^^^^^So much mass....and yet NO MASS.

I have a lot of eastern-European friends that talk about fat Americans in front of me
with no care of offending me

thing is though, I'm thinner and in better shape than most of them
none of them are fat per say, but most are very out of shape and eat poorly
and they all brag about how they cook like it is at home
whatever make you happy i guess

America's idea of politeness could be part of it too.

I know that in China and Hong Kong, if you're fat, people will point and let you know that you're fat.

If I was regularly told in a friendly voice that I found some weight I would definitely be motivated to get in shape.
