You guys are probably right. Maybe I just need to quit buying Jordan's.
When I keep paying higher prices for shoes that are over 20 years old I guess I expect near perfect craftsmanship.
At this point, $238 with tax, it's starting not to be worth it.
Would this bother you guys or am I being too picky?
This is DS from Nike. The other pair is perfectly smooth.
It's a little more noticeable in person. It's like a ridge that shouldn't be there.
I was pending on nike.com for like 5 minutes and then it said purchased.
The entire process took 10 minutes.
Seeing as how this is the fastest I've ever gotten a pair of Jordan's online on release day, I have a feeling these were mass released and everyone will get a pair.
So easy
I've had my share of quality issues with Jordans the past few years but I checked these out today at the mall and they're not nearly as bad as some of you make them out to be.
What's so bad about the leather? It isn't premium but it's better than the Cement 4s I bought recently.
I'm aware...
I'll try to get them online. If I strike out, I strike out.
I'm over running around town signing up for raffles, especially with the prices these cost now days. It's just not worth anymore. These shoes are damn near 30 years old.
I don't care if it's "OG", I like the shape of the new XI and I dislike the look of the "cut" on these pictures I've seen floating around.
I purchased the 72-10 XIs this year and I loved how they fit more like a glove and were a little sleaker compared to the OG Bred XIs I balled in back in the...
I'm sure this has already been posted in here but I've really busy the past week and was unable to get the shoes or follow the thread.
Were these a general release? How hard were they to get?
I'm going to have to pay re-sale when I finally pick them up but I don't want to pay more than I have...
On more than half of these pictures I can't even tell what is wrong and I'm looking at the shoe zoomed in 8 inches from my face.
With that said, some of the complaints have been legit.
My pair looks exactly like that. Some ridges on the right toe box and a lot of wrinkles on the left toe box like it's almost half way tumbled.
I can live with those those after seeing some of the pics of the uneven heels and what not. Honestly, after a few wears those ridges and creases will be...
You're 100% correct.
It's a business. Nike keeps rushing these out and cutting corners on quality while jacking the price and they continue to sell out. Why would they change the model?
Until people quit buying them, they're going to keep shipping the same product.
My left toe box has a lot of wrinkles and almost looks tumbled and my right toe box just has a big *** crease all the way across it straight out the box.
And I swear, the people with the smart *** comments that go out of their way to defend Jordan Brand are just as annoying as the people that...
