Love the Kef's. My coworker just got some q950's and dual Crown 2502's. Imaging is spot on, sound stage is WIDE..and the output is damn near concert levels.

They make powered monitors exactly for that purpose. Soundbars are for misinformed consumers and people who are more concerned with aesthetics than good audio.....but I can understand having a pair of large tower speakers in your living room doesn't fit people's idea of 21st century decor.

I like the features and ease of use, but as far as sound goes they sound as good as a $100 pair of Micca bookshelves.
