I would also check out Mount Vernon or Charles Village if you're looking for easy access to all the action (bars, harbor, etc.) without having to deal with the noise that comes with living downtown.

And it's no denying that it is pricey, but at least in my experiences, the benefits have been outweighing those costs since.

I would say that you would be doing yourself a disservice by not going to a HBCU. Morehouse has a lot of connections with many Fortune 500 companies who were scratching at the door to get students to work for them (at least while I was there). The chicks down there are top...
