The packaging is a nice touch. The box is solid and heavy, with 2 latches. Almost like opening a large jewelry box. Helps you to forget that you spent $650+ on a ball cap and some tennis shoes.

The quality of the leather is butter soft. Like a really soft leather jacket. $650 retail really is steep. Especially if you don't wear hats often. Don't know if I would have grabbed these if I didn't already have the blue ones.

Quality of the materials were definitely different though. The leather and insole padding on the 9.5y was much thinner
