Yes! Size 12 seems to always be the first size sold out. Over the last 3 years it’s become so difficult to get a 12. I’m still trying to figure out why. Like I don’t ever remember 12 being a money size.
Definitely! 31-38 I honestly didn’t hate any of them. The 33 and 37 were OK, but I didn’t hate them. I still get excited when new J’s drop each year. I remember hitting the mall up on a Saturday the day the white/unc 15’s dropped. Like damn near half my team was at the foot action copping them...
The younger generation seems to think only retros can be dope and not the new stuff. Referring to just J’s. I wonder if it ever crosses their mind that when these sneakers originally came out they were new model sneakers that we rocked casually. I went to High School in SW Houston and my senior...
100% this. I’m 42 andI don’t care what anybody thinks. I rock the new model J’s casually. I actually get more compliments on new models than I do on retros.
That makes sense. I stopped buying J’s like in 09 for about 8 years. For context I’m 42. When I got back into copping J’s it was in 17/18 ish and big sizes were easy to cop.
I’m still trying to figure out why 11+ became so difficult to get. I’m a size 12 and it was always a pretty easy cop. Now, if you don’t jump on it the first hour good luck.
I totally feel you on this. I’ll be 42 next week and while I’m not retiring from sneakers, I have shifted what I buy. I’ve cut down buying retro J’s big time. I mainly focus on newer models like Lukas, Tatums, Zions and now the 38’s. I‘ve always loved copping the newer models. I get more joy now...
