More concerned about the 3000mah battery than wireless charging and lack of an 3.5mm headphone jack. Bluetooth is everywhere now so it's not that big of a deal. Also the only phones that trimmed bezels was LG and Samsung, everyone else still has to get in line so the design isn't dated just yet.

If he had to have a s6, I wouldn't buy one from a carrier at this point. They are way cheaper on the 2nd hand market. Outside of the camera though, I think a newer "budget" phone could compete performance-wise with a s6 depending on the price range he looking at.

Was hoping LG kept the ir blaster on the g6, oh well. The size of the phone is appealing as hell though, getting tired of big phones.

G6 is practically the same size as the 5 with a .4" larger screen. It's actually a little narrower, phone seems pretty legit.
