It's from Foster's only Pro Bowl appearance (selected the next year but DNP) the season he broke Franco Harris' single-season franchise rushing record, that he still holds.:smokin
I don't know what's going on...
Sorry guys, I forgot all about that, didn't realize I was so popular. Lol
I should have a new pickup tomorrow and I'll try to make up for some lost time on the countdown.
In the meantime, it's Deion's birthday (mine too actually) so here are some of my Prime jerseys...
The Skins #2 is...
Lol. I actually thought the same thing.
I'm going to finish rewatching the game to see if I can tell but, because the stains are on the front, back, sides and shoulders, Reggie's hand is actually the most logical source imo.
I picked up this Carlton Haselrig (Steelers) game used and signed 1993 Pro Bowl jersey that I was able to photomatch.
I rewatched some of that game and he did a great job despite having to line up across from Reggie White.
It shows decent used for a PB jersey and has blood stains throughout...
The Steelers Memorabilia Manager (how cool would that job be) recently made an official team eBay account to start auctioning off game used or issued jerseys and it was among the first 3 or 4 listed.
The hologram I posted indicates that is where it came from.
Previously they had been selling...
@1978S Thanks, appreciate it.
@Hahahaha Thanks, I wish I had the foresight to order as many different teams as I could back then.
All the great players/personalities of the '90s and the lack of basically any alternate uniforms in that era made that year really special.
I think we will almost...
I'd been looking everywhere for even the retail version of this jersey for just shy of 10 years now and the Steelers had this one sitting at their facility since '94. I'm beyond happy to finally own it.
@likeaboss2 Thanks, my Steelers collection would have always felt incomplete without it.
I'm wondering if we will see this style worn again for the NFL's 100th anniversary in 2019.
It even crossed my mind that the reason it finally saw the light after all these years of sitting at PGH's facility...
One more
After checking eBay multiple times a day, sometimes hourly, for literally almost 10 years, scouring Steelers boards, posting WTBs, etc.,
FINALLY...
:wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow:
I would have been ecstatic to have the retail version of this jersey so I can't...
