Exactly dudes got to play some games before it becomes valid debate again. Otherwise its just KLJ saying Chris Paul should be known as Paulgod, bashing Deron Williams and making him seem like hot garbage. AboveLegit doing the same thing with Rose, and people ignoring the same advanced stats that say that Rose was one of the best defensive PG's in the league last year.
What the..? I never implied he was anything close to hot garbage. Just because I felt someone else was more worthy of the MVP award, and that I believe he isn't quite as good as Chris Paul doesn't mean I hate the kid. Far from it. And it was plainly obvious last season that Rose's positioning and awareness in the team defensive scheme was lacking, as was his communication on that end. Though I have zero doubt he's improved since.

What a disgrace.

They would really appreciate a title with Kobe/CP3/Howard? Seriously?

Most of them were probably the same ones criticizing the death out of Miami's teaming up last summer

It would be a disgrace to the NBA, a disgrace to the game of basketball and a disgrace to professional sports for both CP3 and Howard to join Kobe. I'd still have people telling me Kobe wasn't the most helped superstar in league history.

shut the hell up crybaby
it aint even happen yet and it probably wont. so keep your tears in your eyeballs
More Laker fans who have no clue as to what my point was. Not surprising. Is this really the best reply you could muster?

To break it down so even the dumbest of Laker fans can understand:

It's quite obvious the trade won't happen. Everyone knows this. Let's just get that out of the way. My point has nothing to do with the possibility of it happening. It's the fact that many Laker fans would actually co-sign this move, like there's nothing wrong with it.

many of those fans probably being the same ones who criticized Miami last summer

Do you understand now bruh?

Calling people crybaby?

again you make yourself sound stupid. Miami signed those players. LA would be trading for them.
And you were OK with trading kwame brown for pau gasol right?

Right?

you just need to stop posting.

sounding like an undercover laker hater.

how many years has kobe bryant played?

do you know how many games hes already played?

hes not getting any younger...

I want you to admit to me that you were disgusted at the pau gasol trade and how for the last 4 years you hated the lakers because of that lopsided trade... Then i can understand why you are throwing a fit about these dwight howard chris paul rumors.... Until then shut up...

So wait, each team gets an amnesty, AND a stretch?  So basically, the league is setting it up to protect all kinds of stupid front office folk, and they just pillaged the players for all that money to do so.

Nice.  At least it only cost us 16 games, and now we get triple headers and @#$% with this baseball schedule they're playin.

Does that dunking guy ever practice shooting, or dribbling, or free throws, or just lobs off the gym with left handed finishes?
ohwell.gif

Putting my Laker hater bias aside, I just don't see how the Lakers get CP3 or Dwight. Bynum is the only worthwhile trade piece, and what third team is gonna get in the mix to help facilitate a trade where......the freaking Lakers get CP3 and/or Dwight.

• The salary of any player waived via the amnesty clause will continue to count toward the salary floor. This could be of major interest to a team such as the Wizards, who would fall so far under the salary floor (about $49 million per team) by using amnesty on Rashard Lewis as to make the provision almost unworkable for them this season. But if Lewis’ $20.6 million salary continues to count toward that floor — and not against the cap — even after amnesty, the provision is more useful in the short term.

Wow that's huge.

And in other news, to replace Caron and Tyson (if they both leave, one being more likely than the other), two guys the Mavericks are looking at are Michael Redd and Jeff Foster.

Foster is ehhhh, doesn't do much for me.

I would've loved to have Michael Redd about 5 seasons ago. I guess as long as he can still shoot the ball.

Wasn't McCants starring in and directing bisexual porn or something?

The Hornets have been "strongly engaged" in talks with the Clippers, Warriors and Celtics in regards to trading Chris Paul on Tuesday, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.
Paul, along with Dwight Howard, appear to have forced the hand of their respective teams in order to force a trade before they become free agents at the end of the year. Paul is likely going to be playing for someone other than New Orleans this season, and for now, these three teams look to be in the lead for his services. Wojo also adds that Warriors and Clips could help their cause if they're able to sign Tyson Chandler, too.

Telling you, Clippers make too much sense.

I'm not in any fantasy bball leagues this year but I read on espn's fantasy baseball leagues, they already have the NBA schedule up. Somebody check if this is true
