My Portugal Notes:

Semedo has to be benched (he may be forced to since he got injured). Dalot is our only savior. I’d give up a pinky to get Cancelo back.

Nuno Mendes has to get healthy.

Stop playing Bernardo as a winger. Either he’s a number 10 or needs to be benched. Play another striker or put in Rafa for speed.

Front line needs to be Jota — Silva — CR7

Belgium you seemed like you wanted Germany. Am I wrong?

I wanted Hungary from that group, if not them then yeah Germany. Not that I’d be thinking ‘yay, easy win’ if we got Germany though.

I think Belgium certainly has the quality to beat Portugal but we’ll have to step our game up and play significantly better than we have so far. The same goes for Portugal, I think they have a much better performance in them than what they’ve shown so far.

Away goals always been lowkey a relic of a rule. There will still be plenty of drama and emotion over two legs without the away goals rule. People will forget about it pretty quick or at the least realize it wasn’t really needed anymore pretty quick.
