Whoever moved Benzema to striker robbed footy fans of a brilliant attacking midfielder

Dude is a number 10 in a number 9's body. If he trained as an attacking mid who also tries to get on the end of crosses his whole career it would have made the most of his talents imo

Neymar will never be this :smh:

Adidas would be better imo

You can keep believing the myth that it isn't and when it comes time in Europe the sides that are more tested will prevail. PSG will become like Bayern and Juve, and turn the entire league into its feeder. It's a great business model, even if it sucks for the rest of the league because it cripples your rivals, and unless executed near perfectly will backfire in Europe.

Sounds like Don Iniesta is making his move to China. Wow, an end of an era... Aside from Pep, my favorite all time Barca player. Born & bred Blaugrana. El Ilusionista, great player for club & country.

End of an era indeed, one of the greatest players I've ever had the pleasure of watching.

While he was bred Blaugrana, he wasn't born a Barça fan. He actually grew up rooting for Real Madrid.

Oh its definitely PSG's league now, no doubt about it. I'm still hoping Lyon and Monaco can continue to have some exciting seasons, but I sure as hell wont deny that the rest of the league isn't buns.

Just gotta beat my chest every now and again for Ligue 1, farmers league comes up all the time on twitter.

But if every now and again Monaco or Lyon steals a league title I wouldn't be too mad. Gotta keep it exciting like last season every once in a while at least

But on another note, Madrid should just go ahead and drop the bands on Neymar so PSG can use that money on Fekir and some defensive players :nerd:. Neymar's fee is enough to get some fullbacks and a new keeper

Unlike Xavi, Iniesta is one of the Barca legends people respect regardless of their club allegiances. Iniesta, Puyol, and Abidal are my favorite players of all time :hat

I feel you.

What went down yesterday was a really bad look for the league though. With that being said I don't think the overall strength of a league necessarily depends on how many winners you have. The top sides in every league will always poach talent. The problem with Ligue 1 isn't just that PSG is going to monopolize the league, but additionally the massive drop-off after the top 4. Both disparities are reflected in the table.

Not enough money to go around, club budgets in france are horrible. Neymar alone makes more than half the teams.

I doubt that will change any time soon either unless some more rich ownership steps into the league or a big TV deal happens. (highly doubt either of those happening)

A good thing with France is that they don’t allow release clauses. So maybe if teams scout and develop well some of that psg money will go around, and at market value.

Bruh Suarez intervening in an incident with racial abuse

Hope the report isn’t true. No player deserves that especially from his own coach.

Yo @jape let’s swap Dembele for Neymar b.

Straight swap. Y’all can have him back. We’ll even throw some money on top.

Plz

:smh: If those reports are true... Regardless of the fact, I'm still in with him being gone. The team still looked subpar in the win against Valencia. bart, his board, roberto fernandez, & ernesto all need to go...

 @ the thought of hannibal intervening... That's rich...

The Dembele situation at Barca seems to just keep getting worse, I doubt he'll be there next season.
