Do any Man United fans really think he wants to go back, or is it just more media hype? (rhetorical question). He uses your club as a bargaining tool every time he's slightly unhappy with a contract or situation at RM. It happens pretty much every other year

aint nobody talking to ronnie like this...he's just in his feelings cause he just won the balon d' or and messi and neymar are eating way more than him
and even though i don't believe this at all, thats a terrible way to treat the best player to every put on a madrid kit.
he's been carrying madrid's offense for years now
Ronaldo told he'll go 'when and where' a transfer suits Real Madrid.

The EPL is an easy transition for any English speaking individual, with tons of advertisements to go with it.

La Liga don't got subway trains covered in ads inside and out a whole continent away. The EPL does. And you can catch them on more than one channel both cable and local. Its just too accessible to pass up.

He maybe wants to come back (probably doesn't), but we don't want him back now. His legs have gone. However he will always get love from us he doesn't even get from Madrid fans.

The mid table standard in La Liga is the worst it's ever been, and this coming from a guy who goes to watch Atletico in person a few times a year.

Most of the English media have laughed it off but the Spanish papers seem to be taking it more seriously than usual...

I think it's more of the same song and dance that's been the case for the last few years since Neymar and Messi are making more now, raise a fuss about leaving only to get rewarded by a bigger deal. Just don't think it'll work this time given the teams form, also think Flo's fed up

Lol at United fans not wanting Ronaldo back.
Ronaldo doesn’t want to come back.

No one said he wouldn't be welcomed back ,just that there's been so many false alarms that most folks don't really care anymore either way

Everyone with sense thinks it's a ploy to get back into that top earner wage bracket after last summer

I know, but I'm puzzled by how many Man United fans still worship him when he treats United this way

I don't know the right word for it, but I don't like how he comes up with a "They didn't whistle at me at United; I was happy there and am sad here" every 2 years and gets everyone's hopes up about going back, and then a week later he gets a new contract and looks beyond thrilled with life at Madrid

I'm not saying that you guys want him back; just saying that if one of my team's former players kept doing that year after year, I'd be pretty annoyed

I'd love to have Ronaldo back at OT but he ain't coming back. Sheeet, I don't even thing Alexis is coming despite what's been said.

Where MLS differs from Da Prem, La Liga, Budesliga and Serie A is that MLS does NOT have must watch matches that makes the casual footy watcher be like "damn, I can't miss this". Even though I still watch them, the big rivalries in MLS are meh-worthy and does not carry the same tone like The Manchester Derby, El Clasico, Pick any London Derby, Madrid Derby, Der Klassiker etc. etc.

It's def annoying, especially since it's legitimately an annual occurrence

Still tough to stay too mad at the GOAT United #7 tbh  *shrugs*

Same way that Giggsy is scum off the pitch but still one of the most revered British players ever. Footy/Sports fans compartmentalize well

Madrid would be stupid to let CR7 go if they don't get Neymar

That's literally the only way I see him leaving RM,Neymar's the one potentially available player that could compare in profile

I say potentially available only cause Neymar's the type to have a price ,not even mad.

hazard will eat at madrid.
he's been playing counter attacking football far too long

Ronnie just hot when he heard what Messi was making & Perez said aaaaahhhh no...
can deff see this, but man's not in the position of leverage at this time.

Mourinho getting that contract extension
