The EPL is an easy transition for any English speaking individual, with tons of advertisements to go with it.

La Liga don't got subway trains covered in ads inside and out a whole continent away. The EPL does. And you can catch them on more than one channel both cable and local. Its just too accessible to pass up.

He maybe wants to come back (probably doesn't), but we don't want him back now. His legs have gone. However he will always get love from us he doesn't even get from Madrid fans.

Good deal imo. Arsenal will be getting way more than he’s worth at this point if we get the 23mill and Theo can move to a club where he will have more playing time.

Most of the English media have laughed it off but the Spanish papers seem to be taking it more seriously than usual...

I think it's more of the same song and dance that's been the case for the last few years since Neymar and Messi are making more now,raise a fuss about leaving only to get rewarded by a bigger deal. Just don't think it'll work this time given the teams form,also think Flo's fed up

No one said he wouldn't be welcomed back ,just that there's been so many false alarms that most folks don't really care anymore either way

I don't know the right word for it, but I don't like how he comes up with a "They didn't whistle at me at United; I was happy there and am sad here" every 2 years and gets everyone's hopes up about going back, and then a week later he gets a new contract and looks beyond thrilled with life at Madrid

I'm not saying that you guys want him back; just saying that if one of my team's former players kept doing that year after year, I'd be pretty annoyed

Where MLS differs from Da Prem, La Liga, Budesliga and Serie A is that MLS does NOT have must watch matches that makes the casual footy watcher be like "damn, I can't miss this". Even though I still watch them, the big rivalries in MLS are meh-worthy and does not carry the same tone like The Manchester Derby, El Clasico, Pick any London Derby, Madrid Derby, Der Klassiker etc. etc.

It's def annoying,especially since it's legitimately an annual occurrence

That's literally the only way I see him leaving RM,Neymar's the one potentially available player that could compare in profile

I say potentially available only cause Neymar's the type to have a price ,not even mad.
