I know I mentioned it recently but people taking shots at Mbappe for wanting to carve his own path prob also ironically complain about super teams in the NBA.

At some point he was going to have to leave his comfort zone in that subpar league, and from out of the shadows of others, and go somewhere that players will look to him to lead and assert himself. I think calling it immature is also ironic when getting out of your comfort zone and assuming greater responsibility leads to growth.

I wouldn’t be surprised if within the next season or 2 his demeanor shifts from being the boy wonder to a real alpha dog.

Tbf to Flo, they did sell a lot and cleared up a bunch of wage space this summer on top of not spending much the last few summers in general.

Flo's been making sure the war chest was ready to go for his Mbappe obsession whenever the opportunity came by.

Given that they just dropped almost 200m on Mbappe, not sure how feasible Haaland would be now though. I doubt he would be with what Pizza boy is asking on top of the release clause
