Damn sounds like LVG's losing the dressing room...
@the_manutd_blog:
Many of the players and staff don't believe in Van Gaal's style of football as they think he is hard to play for.
They believe that the poor football and individual performances, due to restrictions, is damaging to their careers.
When they see Hernandez thriving or even Di Maria and Rafael doing well, they question their manager's judgement.
The United board are still behind Van Gaal and that position will remain until they sack him or he offers his resignation.
The board, though, are deeply concerned about events on the pitch as they're not seeing the desired results. (via @AndyMitten)
Taking it with a grain of salt but it's not that far fetched that they'd start to second guess him given their form and the fact that literally everyone else does . It feels like everything becomes a snowball effect once you lose the players...
This wouldn't surprise me. I can see how the older playes wouldn't be happy, because LVG's style of play is not in line with the United Way of doing things.
I think it's also more evident that in the second half of United's last match, players (particularly the youth) literally switched off. They looked like they couldn't be bothered to even try. I didn't expect them to play well because they're a bunch of kids who were thrown in the deep end, but I expected them to put in their shift. Some will say that they won't look as explosive because they're younger and their bodies are still developing, but I didn't look at any of those youth players thinking they left it all out on the pitch.
