For all the convo about Drake having ghostwriters, it raises an eyebrow to other major artists on these labels for me as well.... Particularly Kendrick Lamar and TPAB. Tito Lopez was doing a lot of work with Dre leading up to that project, then he suddenly disappeared from the face of the earth. And now.... he's back

Same with Pill who was once with MMG, I can't pinpoint an artist he might be working with but he's another case of an artist on a major label that just suddenly disappeared into the abyss.

Ear Drummers was and still is the production team that helps Mike Will keep up with the demand of everyone who wants a Mike Will beat.

But it's also the name of the label that he has that Rae Shrimpsoup is signed to.

But there's nothing wrong with dudes who just want to make beats all day while Mike Will uses his connections to place the records and build the Mike Will brand. Everyone eats, everyone don't wanna be in the spotlight.

Someone dig up the post I made from 2011/12 about Drake very openly having writers (in response to a "Kanye has mad people contributing lines!" rant) and how it doesn't matter because everyone does it, whether publicly or not. The rappers who don't use writers, generally can't afford it or simply aren't dropping the shear amount of material Drake does/Ye did.

Cats use writers. Don't get so emotional/defensive about it. I think the bigger farce is pretending you don't, when it's not that big of a deal.
