I'd be surprised of ND won 8 games even with that schedule.

but everyone is a year older now. Upper class talent on this roster the past 2 years was flat out atrocious.

OSU has just two quarterbacks working in spring ball, so they will be careful not to over-work them -- Terrelle Pryor and Joe Bauserman. Ross Oltorik, a walk-on freshman last season, is playing baseball full-time this spring. They have another brand-new walk on, Justin Siems
He (Tressel) said the Buckeyes will have to get a bit more creative without Beanie Wells in the backfield, but didn't specify how. Look for less I-formation
There are no significant changes within the coaching staff, in terms of assignments or who works with whom. Said he talked to beleaguered offensive line coach/offensive coordinator Jim Bollman about being more physical on the line, and about scoring more TDs in the red zone.
So far Texas has grabbed most of the recruiting headlines in Big 12 territory with its unprecedented early recruiting run.
However, Bob Stoops and Oklahoma made some major news themselves on Friday when the nation's No. 1 quarterback announced he was heading to Norman.
Blake Bell's commitment likely will help the Sooners land more top-flight recruits.
Wichita (Kan.) Bishop Carroll quarterback Blake Bell, the No. 25 player and the top signal-caller in the nation, took an unofficial visit to Oklahoma Thursday to watch the Sooners in spring practices. He then followed that up a call to Stoops on Friday, and during the conversation he committed to the Sooners.
"I've been to games, and I've talked to coach Josh Heupel a little bit, but getting around them when they are coaching in practice was important," Bell said. "Seeing stuff when they are under fire, and talking to coach Stoops a little bit more was something that helped me decide."
The decision wasn't a shock if you've followed Bell's recruiting process from day one.
Despite garnering early national offers from Georgia, Iowa, LSU, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Oregon, Texas A&M and 20-plus other schools, Bell never hid his fascination for the Sooners. Bell grew up an Oklahoma fan, and spent several weekends this past fall in the stands in Norman watching OU play.
"I love their offense and how they get that run game going and it leaves people wide own with the play action," Bell said. "There's a lot of tradition at OU and I've always thought highly of them."
This isn't the first five-star quarterback Oklahoma has landed under Stoops. However, Sooner fans are hoping the results end up much more favorable than they did with Rhett Bomar.
When he was coming out of the Class of 2004, Bomar grabbed national headlines when he committed to the Sooners over Texas and a host of others. He appeared destined for greatness, but Bomar ran into off the field issues and ended up at Sam Houston State.
People close to Bell say he's a grounded kid that should have no problem handling the pressure of playing for one of the nation's premiere programs.
Most close to him believe he'll be much more comparable to guys like Sam Bradford and Heupel, his future quarterback coach.
"I've been around some very good players and with some of them you wondered if they were going to be able to handle the pressure of playing big time college football, but I can't say enough good things about Blake," Carroll coach Alan Schukman said.
"He comes from an amazing family that has kept him focused on the important things both on and off the field.
"On the field, he has the ability to make all the throws, run when the pocket breaks down, move out of pressure, set his feet and throw the football. He's a tremendous talent, but what really sets him apart in my mind is his ability to never be satisfied and focused on being the best he can be. He's humble but still driven to be the best."
Another part of what makes Bell special is his great bloodlines Father Mark Bell and uncle Mike Bell played at Colorado State before long careers in the NFL.
"My dad was with the (Indianapolis) Colts and Seahawks and my uncle played 12 years with the (Kansas City) Chiefs," Bell said. "My dad was a tight end and my uncle was a defensive end. Just watching the Chiefs growing up and watching film, being around the game, I got a lot of tips."
Will Bell's commit help Oklahoma with Justin McCay?
Bell's commitment is absolutely huge for the Sooners. After Bradford departs, Bell will battle Landry Jones and Drew Allen for the starting spot.
"You know, I'm not one of those guys that says I'm going to come in here and get a starting job, I know you have to work for anything you want," he said.
"That's what I'm going to do, work as hard as I can, try and get better and try and get out on the field. That's my goal, and we'll go from there."
Now Sooner fans are hoping that Bell's commitment will help their recruiting class go from here.
OU has made other offensive targets like Las Vegas Bishop Gorman four-star tight end Xavier Grimble and Mission (Kan.) Bishop Miege four-star athlete Justin McCay in the high priority recruits, and having Bell on board this early has to help the Sooners' chances.

It's pretty sweet. I can't wait until it's all up to date and has everything available for people (and more importantly recruits) to look at.
Just listened to Scott Frost the WR's coach and he was saying that the players would have something like 7 helmets in the coming year(s).
Morley off team, Kiffin says
Safety Demetrice Morley is no longer on the Tennessee football team, UT head coach Lane Kiffin announced at practice on Tuesday.
The senior from Miami, who was not at Tuesday's practice, had already missed three practices this spring.
He was suspended for the Vols' first spring practice after being late to a team meeting. He also missed practice last Tuesday for the birth of his child.
UT coach Lane Kiffin declined to provide specifics of Morley's absence Saturday, saying he wanted to speak with Morley before talking with the media.
More details late online and in Wednesday's News Sentinel.
