Strongly disagree with the bolded statement, especially in today's climate.
Nowadays mixtapes are arguably more important than official releases. Where would Jeezy be without Streets is Watching and more importantly Trap or Die? Wiz? Currensy? Drake? Wayne? Fab? Mixtapes made most current acts careers.
