He isn't a "beast" down low but he sure would have made this team a whole lot better than it is now, regardless of whether people think he's soft or not. The silver lining is that if Chicago had drafted Aldridge they probably would have never lost enough in '07 to eventually land Rose . .

Agreed 100%. People think that if a player's young and has a few good games, he's automatically has a clear upside, and he'll bebetter than he is. He's not gonna get better if he doesn't know what to do with his years.
