anyone got a good review of this ipad.

I'm going to need something to support this impulse buy.

Edit: just watched a review. This would be a bad purchase for me.

It's mostly a father's day present for a lot of people.

My pops is 58. As long as there is internet access for web browsing, netflix, and the horse racing app, hes a happy man. He doesn't want or need all the bells and whistles.

My bro and I work at Target part time. So we get that employee discount stacked with the Target Red card discount

My bad for mentioning that screen quality of this device is sub-par compared to a retina 9" iPad.
I'm soft. So is my eyesight.

I want to get this for my girl for her birthday in November...

But I'm not sure if its too early for a $200 gift... :lol:

Plus I'm not sure how she'll receive it, ya know?

Like... What is she gonna do with a damb iPad?

She got me some Gucci cologne for my birthday this past weekend...

Her birthday is in November...

I could deal with the non-retina display but the fact that it won't get iOS9 next September makes this a pass. A5 devices barely make the iOS8 cut-off, no point investing in something phasing out so soon. For a parent it wouldn't matter, but my girl updates her devices quicker than I do so I know she wants something more future proof.

Is $269 + tax a good price for a new 16GB Ipad Mini with Retina Display and Wifi (Space Gray) or should I wait till Black Friday to purchase one?
