Hey fellas! Recently picked up a pair of these OG 1s. Turns out my pair has an extremely thin tongue, after looking at pics online it seems most pairs from 1985 have the thicker tongues. However upon more searches i found the signed pair that MJ wore in the all stars game also had the same thin tongue. Can anyone shine a light on whats up with the thin tongues? Were they released at a different time than the other pairs? Pics below- cheers!! All stars game- My pair-
It really depends on the date produced and the factory made. Some of the early dates of Jordan 1's , a different material was used and they changed to a better quality later. Also, ST-P usually always seems to be a better quality then the factories.
