2 Years Experience and Bachelor's to work at McDonald's

*snip*
I never said there wasn't any free money out there *snip*

I don't care what you did or how much you spent. You came in running that mouth about "where are these scholarships you speak of 8o" so I showed your ***. Ask a "simple" question get a simple response.

lol at the scholarship debate. when the majority of them end up being fruitless. got thousands upon thousands of people competing for 1000 bucks.

not to mention time and effort on some essay just for a chance

when I didn't get the necessary financial aid and things were looking grim i searched high and low for any possible freebie scholarship. wasted time writing 3 or 4 papers (some i managed to reuse during class) but overall a wasted effort.

Act like one too. You seen me on stage with my mustache glasses?

Can't stand when people like you talk like this.

Grants are not ridiculously easy to get, MOST people don't even qualify.

Where are these scholarships simply for being black that you're talking about? I'm legitimately interested but I have a strong feeling your just talking out your ***.
I'm not going to argue with someone who is obviously offended because they haven't put in the work and effort. Have you done research? Have you sat down with an advisor at a college (for FREE) to discuss what scholarships there are? Do some work and research; you want someone to just walk to your door and hand you a check for 4k every semester? All you have to do is try. In the gulf coast, for example, all you have to do is fill out a form and you get around $400 a term just for being a "victim" of the oil spill. And by victim they mean anyone who lives down in GC. No, not everyone lives here. No, $400 isn't a lot but there are so many scholarships out there. Be mad at yourself. I'm not trying to offend anyone I'm informing people in a frustrated manner. You clearly haven't done your part.
How do you apply for the oil spill grant?  Google doesn't produce any related results.  I live on the gulf coast and haven't heard about it.

Don't you love "Entry Level" listings that want 2-5 years of experience in that field? How is a college grad going to meet these requirements when they were most likely full time students? The system is all the way f'd up and no one is trying to fix it.
Thats why you should do internships, but I understand where you are coming from. I went to a college career fair looking for a new internship, but wasnt qualified because I didnt have the work experience in the intern position being offered

I think it's called the Rockafeller Scholarship (or something to that extent). That's the thing, we rely so heavily on the Internet now but going and talking to your advisor in person will surface so many opportunities.

jokes on you..i JUST got my class A CDL license this week..im bout to **** on ******
No, McDonald’s Is Not Requiring Potential Cashiers to Have a Bachelor’s Degree (UPDATE)
Neetzan Zimmerman

A spit-take-inducing story about a McDonald's restaurant in Massachusetts requiring applicants for a cashier job to hold at least a bachelor's degree along with 1-2 years of experience went viral yesterday after being republished by the Washington Examiner along with a "thanks, Obama"-style write-up courtesy of Washington whisperer Paul Bedard.

"Sadly we've taxed-and-spent our way to an economy in which there's intense competition for just about any job," Bedard quoted Generation Opportunity president Evan Feinberg as saying.

But nonsensical generalizations aside, the independent McDonald's franchise that sparked this latest wave of misdirected blame says it never set any such requirements for its potential cashiers.

"There has been some misinformation reported by an independent job site with no relationship to the Winchendon, Massachusetts McDonald's," restaurant owner Lori Ruscito said in a statement. "The original job posting, which could be accessed through McState.com, did not require a bachelor's degree. We are working diligently to have the misinformation removed from the site but to date the website has been unresponsive to our requests."

I've reached out to Feinberg for a follow up comment and will update if/when I hear back.

UPDATE: Feinberg responds with the following statement:
There are reports questioning whether the ad I was asked about was for real. Either way, we are constantly hearing from college graduates who are flipping burgers or out of work completely, so I wouldn't be surprised to see employers trying to hire them for jobs they are laughably over-qualified for.
