Barkley is a bit overrated. He looks good in most games and his stats make you believe he's elite, but he has never (since his Senior year of HS) shown ability to consistently carry a team on his back in difficult games. You can argue Ohio State in '09 was one example but again, there has been no consistency.
I'm a big fan of Matt for stepping up as a leader off the field during the sanctions but he's nothing more than a solid QB.
