Dwight is still the MVP imo...
I just can't give MVP to a guy who contributes nothing to its teams greatest strength (defense).
And the Celtics are still the best team in the East

Rose is still the most valuable player to his team right now, esp if the Bulls lock this # 2 seed up and Miami keeps playin' mentally soft.

Ultimately, Magic go as far as Dwight takes them while that isn't true with the Bulls. They can win when he has an off game. That's more "valuable" to me in a literal sense.

The basement? Dwight shoots an astounding 72% from the field, and 66% from the line in the "clutch," which is defined as less than 5 minutes left, neither team ahead by more than 5 points. Also, he's the best defensive player in the league, and obviously prevents other teams from getting easy buckets in the paint down the stretch. So he's not really a liability at all.
Combine that with what he does throughout the rest of the game, and you have the best MVP candidate in the league, bar none.

I just give the edge to Rose since he not only has to make clutch baskets for his team, but create for his other team mates as well.

He also spends a huge chunk of those minutes on the bench because he's bouncing on and off the court to avoid having to shoot free throws... He shoots 9 shots per 48 clutch minutes. So, yeah... His value drops off significantly.
