Anybody care to explain where Bynum was going with the peanut butter analogy?

whatever hes doing its too complicated

give someone 3 choices & they make a quick decesion (store brand, jiiify, nutela)
give someone 25 choices & it takes the same person a hr to figure out what they want (store brand 1, store brand 2 , jif,jif with chunks, jif with jam already inside etc)

Lol my opinion is exactly that mine, and parker even if he is top ten he better be 8,9, or 10

Bynum confirms he took half court shots in practice,
Bynum raged against the shoot-first guards. During a practice, Bynum said that he launched a shot from midcourt, clearly out of the rhythm of the offensive play. Another day during a scrimmage, he did not like a call from assistant coach Phil Handy and mocked him as “a horrible referee.”
“Those are the two things I did,” Bynum says. “I did them on purpose because it was over there for me.”

His thoughts on Mike Brown's coaching

“It’s kinda like, if I send you to the grocery store and I give you three choices for peanut butter, you’ll probably pick one easily. But if I give you 25 choices, you might stand there for half an hour. Having it be too detailed may not always be the right thing,” Bynum says.

Bob Ryan keeping it 100, when talking about Melo on the sports reporters yesterday morning. Putting out facts that no one ever really acknowledges about him. Never really seen Bob Ryan that wound up before.

Funny and sad at the same time :lol

If this dude woulda had a better work ethic and took his rehab and basketball career more serious he could of been a
PROBLEM for the league for a decade.

But all he cared about is having banks to cash those checks at :{ :lol

Maybe. But unless he's been completely irresponsible with his $, he's already earned enough to live comfortably for life: Plus, if he does wear out his welcome with NBA teams, he'll probably still be able to go overseas and steal money over there for a few years - if he feels like it.

I'm well aware of his knee issues.

But he was very far from "giving it his all." :lol

Just because he did some silly things to release his frustration doesnt mean he didnt give it his all

Remember that 30 rebound game? Thats not gunna happen when u dont give it ur all

What could he have done differently?

Not sure if srs.

You really think I'm basing my perception of his lack of effort on a few half court shots in practice?

It's been years of numerous people around the league pointing out his lack of effort in rehab and practice.

We know his knee issues killed his career, but it was his lack of interest in progressing his game that began the regression of his career.

I don't even know why I'm discussing this :lol

Lack of interest in progressing?

Dude came in the league as a 17 year old and at his peak he was the most complete offensive center in the league his post game was great and he was even looking to start adding a jumpshot to his game

Phil jackson his coach said that he gave a lot of effort in practice and rehab and he worked hard yet ur saying he didnt? :lol

doesnt bynum have 2 rings already and a huge bank account ? kid got fed up early , if he was more mature and had more brains he would be #1 big in the league and make contender any team he would play at . sadly his legs didnt help him as well .

That's all I'm Tryna say. But Yeezus ain't hearing it.

We all know he came in as a 17 year old and played well. You keep speaking these facts that we all know.

My whole point is HE COULD OF BEEN BETTER. But he didn't care to be.

No one said he didn't EVER work hard. All were saying is he could of worked harder and been a lot better.

But like I've said, the knee issues ended all hope. Didn't matter anymore

He was the #1 big in the league on a contender before his knees gave out

Thats what yall dont understand

Can u please tell me how he could have been better? Please? I really want to know what he could have dont to be a better player on the court

I'm not sure Bynum could have been better, he just could have been as good as he was, at his best, for a much longer period of time. Which was very good.

bynum had not longevity as being an elite player. he had like a couple solid yrs before the legs went out
