That's cool but he shot 40% from the field and 31% from 3, that's piss poor. He also had a 35.6% usage so that 28 isn't impressive.
He wasn't second in blocks either, he's basically tied with Lamar and Artest for 3rd after Gasol who was first and Bynum
Pau was 18.6/11.6/3.7/2.6 on 48%.
He provided rim protection, played great D and was a monster on the offensive glass.
He was more valuable no matter what you believe, check the Average Game Score, which is another great indicator of overall value.

Kobe's problem all along was comparing himself with Shaq... why are you bitter that a 7'1 ogre doesn't have to work as hard as you? We know he was salty about the monster contracts KG and Shaq secured before the 99 lockout, but life isn't fair.

Even with the percentages, your argument really doesn't sway much. "Great rim protection and defense" doesn't scream MVP. Pau was great for those three years they made the finals, but I think there was a clear difference between the Batman and Robin.
By the eye test and the stats, I'd say you're wrong. Bryant really quarterbacked the teams he took to three straight title appearances. He put the team on his back those three seasons.

sure man. He plugged a bunch of stats that taken out of context are impressive but when you look at them in the proper light, Pau was obviously the better player.
2nd in scoring/1st in FG%/1st in rebounding/1st in blocks/2nd in assists and was their defensive anchor against a team with KG.

Pau: 21-6-3 on 46.2 shooting
Celtics 54 points in the paint. Lakers lose
Game 5:
Kobe 38-5-4-1 on 48.1% shooting
Pau 12-12 on 41.7% shooting
Celtics 46 points in the paint. Lakers lose
Also Game 2& 3: Celtics averaged 44 points in the paint

In a way just proves my point that Pau was more valuable because him playing well lead to the wins. You also gotta look at Bynum on some of those points in the paint, he wasn't defending on Pau's level.
