By the eye test and the stats, I'd say you're wrong. Bryant really quarterbacked the teams he took to three straight title appearances. He put the team on his back those three seasons.

He plugged a bunch of stats that taken out of context are impressive but when you look at them in the proper light, Pau was obviously the better player.
2nd in scoring/1st in FG%/1st in rebounding/1st in blocks/2nd in assists and was their defensive anchor against a team with KG.
