Parker could sit the whole series and bang all his teammates wives while patty mills averages 40 in his place and still not receive half as much slander as Paul. Not on his level.

I personally don't like him because of his ***** made antics like that move he pulled last night...

And people say he's hands down the best PG in the game... Yet vs other top PG's he's more often the loser

As it currently stands during the regular season he's 5-15 vs Deron, 10-18 vs Tony, 11-8 vs Russy, 0-5 vs Pooh, 4-6 vs Rajon

In the playoffs 2-4 vs Russy & 3-8 vs Tony...

His resume is looking funny in the light... He made his name off killing Derek Fisher that one year... If that's the greatest accomplishment you can come up with then... I'm sorry, but Chris is looking real SHAKEY. :{

So we gonna sit here and act like he didn't CARRY NO all those years... Like russ doesn't have KD, Like Tony doesn't have Pop, Duncan, Ginobli, Kahwi, Rondo didn't have KG, Ray & PP?

This is the first team he's been on that has had enough talent to make a real run & he played GREAT while losing to two of the most dominant players in the league today. does he deserve some blame yea, but is he overated? truthfully

What PG in the league brings the package that he does on Offense & Defense. This would be another convo if their was currently a PG in the League dominating everyone and leading his team to all the victories but their isn't one (Russ might take that step depending on how he shows up in SA).

I can see people making an argument for TP... but everyone else is also missing the credentials ya'll are bashing him for despite playing with VASTLY better teams.

bro them #'s aint lying about cp3
he carried NO but aint make it past the 2nd rd & was still getting cooked by pg's hes "supposed to be superior to"
I can't wait for Indy to win Game 1 and you all flip flop :lol

yep

We gonna act like the clippers were doing just fine without cp3 during the regular season? That Blake wasn't an MVP candidate? Didn't have the 6th man of the year behind him? Did have JJ shooting his butt off? Doesn't have DJ to throw the ball to from anywhere in the paint?

Lol

Poor CP3 :{ life is rough

If criteria for "success" is doing better than the Lakers and having players in the all star game, I guess half the NBA had success this year.

That's like Michigan being happy if they beat Ohio St, even if they lose the rest of the season. Success :lol

Cheers to dat success :hat

Are you serious? We watched EACH of those PG's that I've named do that in the playoffs: Watched Pooh go toe to toe with the Celtics squad that went to the finals, watched him dominate Indy, and ATL to get to ECF before Bron put a stop to that. Watched Russy dismantle LA, SAS, and go crazy against MIA in the finals, Tony... Do I really have to rattle off his list? Rajon... Have we forgotten how dominant he was in the playoffs before he got hurt, the triple doubles? He was the engine of that team.

As far as Chris carrying that NOLA squad... You can make the same for each of these players... there teams haven't achieved much without them. Minus the year Nate & Belli carried the bulls past the 1st round they've won 2 playoff games wo Pooh. We saw what happened to OKC last year wo Russy. Same with Boston & SAS when Rondo & Tony went down.

As far as him losing to two of the most dominant players, he had the better team and he "the greatest PG on the planet" was at the helm. Tbh, they shouldn't have beaten GS, the refs jerked them. This is his second full year with this squad that has EVERYTHING: Shooters, Low Post offense & Defense, a legit bench with someone who can get you a legit 20 off the pine... and yet he loses in 6 in the second round AGAIN.

At what point does he stop getting the kid gloves is all I'm asking.

DeAndre Jordan looking extra regular playing against legit centers this round.

knew he was gonna be pedestrian vs the size of okc. he had bbq chkn last rd w/ lee/speights/jo

this was really a no excuse yr for the clips and they failed. they had enough pieces to win the whole chip. just failed. F grade in my book

Dat der truth.

serious question but do you guys still consider cp3 a top 3 player?

that's the problem i don't think anyone was claiming him to be a top 3 player

Poor CP3 :{ life is rough

We gonna act like Tony Parker doesn't have a team who can rest its ENTIRE starting unti and beat elite level teams, Like Rondo didn't have 3 HOF'ers in their primes, Like Russ doesn't have the league MVP on his squad.

I'm not even a CP3 fan like that but to say he's overated is crazy unless people were really considering him Top 3 in the league. Like i stated outside of that costly stretch of turnovers in game 5 when could you say CP3 wasn't balling on the floor, where were those times when he was shying away from trying to make plays or taking big shots.

It's the same problem i have with people constantly ripping Melo for not winning it all when every year they go to the playoffs give 100% have games where they completely will their teams to victory & end up taking an L, not to some scrubs but to teams that literally have a combo of the best players in the League.

If you go to the playoffs and suddenly your production falls off or you are no longer aggressive and i see fear in your game (Ala Hibbert/George this postseason) then you deserve all the blame in the world. but if you step your game up and play excellent ball how are you really overated.

from the way these last few pages have gone, the hands down best point guard in the NBA worthy of all praise is Tony Parker..... even though he hasn't won a ring in 7 years

the Spurs got it good lol

Russ over the playoffs, 26.6, 8., 8.4.

His turnovers are still too high (4.5 per game) and his shooting % aren't great 43% and an awful 28% from 3.. but his percentages are a lot better over the last 8 games (50% and 40% from 3).

He's carried them through stretches, come up clutch with steals and big shots, and it seems like he's found his groove.

If the Clippers moved in to Wcf. Spurs would run them out in 4-5 games. Cp0 would choke even more.

Clippers peak to soon. Cp3 should have taken over he wait till Iit was to late to hit a 2 then the 3

we tombout cp0 and his lack of success. everyone was crowning him best pg all these yrs. but as we're looking at his body of work (he's had about a decade of work), there's really not much success in the playoffs. you can say he hasnt had a team around him, but dont tell me those clipper teams werent good enough to advance further every yr theyve been bounced
one thing i will say is...your best player can not be a little guy.

Remember when Steve Nash made the WCF with a team of Shawn Marion, Raja Bell, Leandro Barbosa, Tim Thomas, Boris Diaw and James Jones?
