The Weeknd will finally get his deserved shine.
Kid Cudi will come back hard with Indicud and make up for WZRD
Trinidad James will have 2-3 more hits (if you call them that) but he won't fall off this year.
Chief Keef will fade into Bolivia :Nthat
Jay Electronica won't drop an album again
Joey Bad*** will drop a classic album

I think 2013 will be an interesting year to say the least. It seems every year things get tighter and tighter as far as music piracy has been concerned. Not too sure what is next though. I am hoping artist start dropping albums for $5 on amazon mp3 or something along those lines. I think cheaper albums will lead to more sales. Not just more units sold (obviously) but more profit in the end. Something to entice people to buy more music.

I think he will drop 3rd quarter.

Cruel Winter is supposedly coming too.

- The Weeknd drops his debut album to strong critical acclaim but continues to toe the line between mainstream and "indie" in terms of music style and sales
- ScHoolboy Q is the next in TDE to get recognition
- Vampire Weekend releases a lackluster follow-up
- La Roux finally drops her second album

Kanye's 6th Solo will be a classic . . . he was already working on it for 2+ years . . . and it's gonna be even better now that he's gonna have a son/daughter by the end of summer and has that inspiration . . .

MMG will have another great year . . . with projects from Rockie Fresh, Stalley, Wale, Nipsey Hussle . . . not to mention Dreamchasers 3 from Meek and another Ross LP or tape . . .

Drake will drop a great 3rd album . . . dude has linked up with some new producers (Jake One, Mike Zombie, Jamie from the XX) . . . and he still has 40 . . . dude was quiet in 2012 for a reason . . .

Trinidad James . . . I don't see him popping off like that unless he drops another tape . . . who is going to spend 15 bucks on an album from dude off the strength of All Gold Everything . . . Tape was wack for the most part . . . Beats were nice tho

Jay definitely has an album coming out . . . Jahlil Beats also said Watch The Throne 2 is coming . . .

I heard Nas and Common are working on a collabo project called "Nas.com" . . . should be fire

Big Sean, Travis Scott, Cudi and the rest of GOOD will have a great year . . .

J Cole's second album will be dope . . . hopefully him and Kendrick drop that collabo album this year too . . .

Dom Kennedy also has that annual summer album coming too

Should be a great year.

Danny Brown will have a massive year

Drake will put out another good/great album

Wiz Khalifa may start to find some form again

Wale/Meek Mill will fade into obscurity

50 will have a hit song. Either on a feature ala hate being sober, or his own song featuring a couple big names

Drakes 3rd album will propel him into the stratosphere Graduation pushed Ye into.
Wayne will continue to drop lackluster music
Kendrick won't drop an album, just eat features and let Q come up
T. James will drop One More Molly :hat and the other videos...then an album at the end of the year that will be panned
Chief Keef will start fading...sadly...i fox w/ him
Kanye will drop something of MBDTF proportions (some will :hat others will :{ critics will :Nthat
Andre 3000 gone do it.......he gone drop the album...THE album. It will disappoint some. He'll spit some major bars, but blend a new style that we've yet to see from him since Outkast ALWAYS reinvented w/ each album. Big Boi won't be on the album :rollin
Rick Ross will drop again and lose a chunk of his following who grows tired of his sound
Jeezy will be Jeezy
Toro y Moi might just blow :hat :hat :hat
Big Sean will finally step out of Ye's shadow
Boosie gone be free and drop a banger + go on tour if he's smart
The Weeknd will drop an album....a critically acclaimed, beautiful, eargasm of an album
2 Chainz will begin the fading process
Meek could drop a certified HIT and propel himself to superstardom (and i don't even listen to dude)
Wale gone drop a spoken word album
Miguel will build on Adorn somehow and grow his buzz

Danny Brown will finally get the fame he deserves, and get big.

Ye will still be the GOAT

Jay will be even more rich.

Lil wayne will make mediocre music which people will still like(smh)

Drake will still be Drake

Weeknd will be BIG

Trinidad will be big, but 'll be gone by next year

Wiz will still beWiz.

If Jay drops an album it's probably gonna be another Blueprint 3 type record. Hoping/predicting Yeezus blesses us with another album :smokin

Kanye/Drake/Cole/Eminem/Cudi all dropping this year :hat :hat

I agree with OP that MMG will start to fold. I think Rick Ross fame will start to fade because people are starting to get tired of his fraudulent raps. I think his CO past is finally starting to catch up to him.

Some of my predictions:

Trinidad James 15 minutes of fame will be up.

ASAP Rocky will have a good debut album and a strong year

Dom Kennedy will have a great year and get a lot of shine. his album will be a banger.

Schoolboy Q and Ab soul will get a lot shine as well and will be big this year with the help of Kendrick

Joey Bad*** ,Action Bronson, and Flatbush Zombies will get a lot of shine this year (I really hope so) and make some bangers

Artist like Sir Michael Rocks and Kelow will start to get a lot of notice and significant recognition this year as their fame will gradually increase. they will be the next rising stars in the game.

Yuna (I love this woman :o) will make another hot single and get a lot of praise and will rise to stardom (I know that is a huge prediction but I really hope this happens, she deserves it)

Turquoise Jeep will make another smash hit that will get more than 10mill views on YT that will make their fame rise and become more mainstream. They will kinda be like this year version of PSY. they make some really catchy and fun songs. Gotta go Cali is that joint though :hat

Drake will have a stellar album

The weeknd will as well. All while staying true to what got him here

Big Sean will make an incredible album and move into a light of his own

Don't really see trinidad James fading just yet.

Dom will be in stores like best buy. Will also sign a partnership for his OpM label

ASAP ferg will begin to overshadow rocky after his tape drops.

Something crazy with wiz Khalifa will happen

Kanye will drop something, announce new tour

Ummm ill post more later

-Drake and Kanye will drop albums, both of them will be huge successes

-No one will remember Fat Trel, Lil Reese or Trinidad James by the end of the year

-Riff Raff will have a radio hit :lol

-After ASAP Ferg's tape will be as follows: 4 Tracks where he absolutely kills it, 6 tracks wit the ASAP Mob spitting over a weak beat, 6 more tracks of head scratching nonsense.

-ASAP Rocky drops another tape and goes mainstream

-A rapper will wear make up and try to convince people "dis what real ****** be doing in the hood"

-Lighting will strike twice and Keef will have another huge hit. BANG BANG!!!
