There was NO market for Nick Young. I can't remember a single rumor about "Team X" is looking to sign Nick Young. Lakers bought him back for entertainment value...too bad he's a bum.

Dave Mcmenamin wrote the Hawks, and a few other teams looked at him.
And Jodie Meeks got 3 year - $19mil... Marvin Williams 2 year - $14mil .... Yet you can't believe Nick Young didn't get a 4 year - $21.5mil offer anywhere else.
May be a year more than anyone wanted, myself included, but it certainly was at the very worst what his market value was around the league.

Saying I would condone a Cousins/Randle trade because I just want a UK guy makes zero sense. Keeping Randle would also mean having a Kentucky guy.
And as enticing as it sounds, Lakers first. I want a productive guy. I'm not all for the Rondo possibilities. We had Meeks, and I never really liked that. Some days, yeah. But overall? Nah.
But if we could land Wall, Cousins, Eyebrows, keep Randle, and land KAT...
... smiles all around from this guy.

I know all 3 are from there I just spaced out my next thought poorly, so I was just saying I wouldn't want to trade KAT or Okafor or even Russell for cousins. I would rather have a cost controlled asset then a max player who hasn't done much besides great stats. (sounds like Kevin Love)
If its Winslow or mudiay I'd probably bite and trade.

Obviously I'm not in NBA locker rooms, but it would be interesting to see if management could persuade free agents to sign onto a team led by Kobe and Boogie.
