2014 NFL Draft Thread

I said I liked his routes and subsequently his hands...

I didn't say anything about out running anyone, I don't believe in anyone being out ran. Defensive scheming can fix that, the only person ever that they couldn't was Randy Moss when he felt like playing.

My conclusion is I believe he won't separate because he will be bodied. Separation > Being able to out run everyone.

lol wut?

didn't you say he wasn't quick or fast?  which i'm assuming is why you focused on his size ...

im sure you wouldn't have questioned his size if he had track speed

Bro... go back and re-read everything I just said (both posts)...

You're not comprehending what I said for some reason, but I broke up my last post for you. Maybe that helps.

And with "track speed" I would say 4th, because he can help on ST.

49ers just won on that pick. He'll be out this year, will kill next year.
They're really big on drafting these injured dudes.

It's interesting.

They have such a deep roster on certain positions, they can afford to do things like that. Like I said earlier 4 deep, at the time, take Lattimore as the future,

Decent offensive line, kid sits out and gets healthy, and will compete (Start) next year.

They just keep building for the future.

If Bruce Ellington is still on the board when we pick I think that's who Smith goes with

It'll be great value and we need a slot guy sooooo bad

I'm actually tryin' to watch this Wild game. Hockey is so exciting. Still need to get into this. Say it every year...

Can't believe all these QB's went before Murray and he's STILL out there floating

smh... you're making zero sense

i asked why you think he's a 5th round pick and the FIRST thing out your mouth was "he has no mass"

he's the same size as A BUNCH of productive NFL WRs (ie: Jeremy Maclin)...

you then mention that he's not fast or quick ..... which when reading between the lines means his size would be ok IF he were a burner (ie: toddler body Desean Jackson)

Maclin was a 1st Rounder with similar measurables (speed/size).... so it's gotta be something other than that that has him rated so low

now had you said he lacks consistency, loses focus in games, struggles vs zone defense ... etc... then ok, I'd give you some credit

Same damn thing every freaking year.

Balt, Pitt, SF, NE, GB all havin SOLID drafts. :[

Funny thing is, you can say a LOT of teams are doing well, because........it's a deep draft is all. :lol

StL. Hou. Clev. Minn. Hell, Jax is havin a nice draft (on paper)

Lot of good players being taken in round 3, and even more still on the board for round 4 shows you this draft is pretty solid.

Either way, excited to see how it plays out tomorrow.

AM11 will make them pay..
mett, taj, AJ , shaw, morris, price, savage, still waiting .. mett will go next i would think...

The more I think about, the more I like the huff pick..

Maclin is coming off of a knee injury.. Desean and avant are gone.. Mathews is just a rookie and new to the system

Plus huff can contribute on special teams.. Plus both Mathews and huff are guys who care.. Actually care

But here is huff vs beckham jr:

So after two days far there's one clear draft winner and one clear loser and I don't think it's debatable:

Winner: Cleveland, because they got a 1st round pick (possibly top 10) to trade down 5 spots

Loser: Buffalo, because they lost a 1st round pick (possibly top 10) to trade down 5 spots to take a WR.

He has to be Calvin now.

It was the first thing in a list... it wasn't the only problem with me nor was it isolated.

You are separating the issues... I am saying all of what I listed connect together and are the problem.

He has no mass which means he will get bodied. Because he is not quick/fast he won't get off of the line. With out mass you cannot be physical to get off the line. He will get eatin up in the middle because he isn't fast/quick/and has no lead in his ***.

It's one in the same.

IF he were fast, I said he would be a 4th rounder because he would then be able to help on special teams.

Top 20 WRs I believe 4 are under 200 lbs... those 4 are ridiculously fast and help out on ST. Rounds 1-3 you want starters and possible pro bowlers.

I've made myself more clear than I needed too, it is just my opinion unless I am being crowned NT's NFL Draft Expert.

Not sure how that comparison is supposed to be meaningful re: their future NFL success.

Dolphins have had a solid draft too man... It wasn't surprising or sexy but it's been good.

I just love that 2 of the people I have been mocking for them for months are there. Love the picks.

Hope Justin Ellis, Daniel McCullers or Caraun Reid are available for the Cowboys at 19 in the 4th.

Praying they try to get another pick in the 4th to get Brock Vereen.
