i only rooted for virginia tech because jordan scarlett was on a visit but even besides that i dont understand how anyone not from ohio would ever root for them

My Spartans came out super flat in the 3rd quarter but that game was a lot closer than the final score would suggest. Although we **** the bed, I liked a lot of what I saw and think we're here to stay for the next several years as a team that can play with anyone.

Was it really?

Not sure if serious. Yes. It was. Run that game back and I'd like MSU's chances.

Once the game settled in Oregon beat the dog **** out of MSU so I dunno where that's coming from

Run that game back & it's likely the same results

How Oregon isn't ranked #1 is a mystery to me. If the rankings are supposed to reflect the 2014 season, Bama, OU, and FSU don't have anything on Oregon's wins.

Why are you surprised? This is nothing new

It's only week 3 everything will work itself out

Larry Scott says Pac-12 will review sideline incident involving Pat Haden

BY PETE THAMEL

Sat Sep. 6, 2014

The Pac-12 will review the incident in which USC athletic director Pat Haden engaged with officials on the sidelines during his program's 13-10 victory at Stanford on Saturday. Pac-12 commissioner Larry Scott said the league will be “reviewing the situation” in a text message to SI.com.

A Pac-12 spokesman said the league will not comment further until it reviews the situation with officials, which is in accordance with league protocol.

Haden said after the game that he received a text from a compliance official on the Trojans’ sideline --“mid-hot dog,” he joked -- to come down. USC coach Steve Sarkisian said that he requested Haden come down to assist him.

“I didn’t feel like I was in position to continue to discuss that with the officiating crew in risk of getting a second penalty,” Sarkisian said. “I felt I was better off getting Pat in between, talk it through to make sure everybody understood and moved on.”

Sarkisian had just been flagged for a 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for being in an inappropriate “white area” on the sideline. Sarkisian later admitted he broke the sideline rule. On the following play, Trojans star linebacker Hayes Pullard was ejected for targeting.

Haden made it a point after the game to clarify that he didn’t argue with officials. However, he clearly engaged with two of them, at one point making a waving motion that resembled a referee signaling a missed field goal. Haden said he didn’t have any concern about the optics of his sideline dash considering he is one of 13 members of the College Football Playoff selection committee.

^ That **** is just noise. There's nothing to review. There's no penalty for what he did and it technically isn't even against the rules. The only violation was the coaches texting Haden instead of phoning up to him and even then there's no penalty for it.

I know right. Clamoring to be #1 already when it just matters to be in the top 4 at the end now.

scott wolf... :{ :lol

stays trolling
He's not though. The 3 in the 'PV Rank' column indicates where the team was ranked in the overall poll from the previous week. If you look back at Wolf's week 2 ballot, he had Oregon at 7.

Gotcha.

Assumed it was more of the same, dude covers SC and is widely hated at this point.

So, let's talk about how the Big Ten West is the worst division in the Power 5.
